About Us

We are a cattle breed registry founded to protect and promote the very rare Randall breed. We are a not for profit corporation incorporated in the State of Connecticut. Randalls have recently been rescued from the brink of extinction and although number fewer than 200 animals, are recovering nicely. They are listed as "critical" by the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy.

Randall cattle represent an old and rare gene pool that must be preserved as a safeguard against catastrophic events which could come to pass as Agribusiness continues on the path of single trait selection at the expense of function and genetic diversity. They are currently finding uses in the growing grass based dairy and beef movement.
