About Us

The Human Immunome Project (HIP) is a dynamic global non-profit seeking to revolutionize how we prevent, diagnose, and treat disease by building the first-ever AI models of the human immune system.

The immune system determines whether we survive infancy, which diseases we get, how we age, and how long we live. It holds the key to fighting disease and improving health. Yet its complexity has limited our ability to harness its potential. Until now. Recent technological advances have sparked new opportunities to decode and model the human immune system and rapidly accelerate the development of new diagnostics, therapeutics, and vaccines for infectious and non-communicable diseases, including emerging pandemics, cancers, and Alzheimer’s.

The Human Immunome Project is merging the collective power of the scientific and advanced computing communities to establish a collaborative and diverse global research network that can deepen our understanding of the human immune system to advance health for all.

Our approach is grounded in a commitment to diversity and equity to address the disease challenges of the coming decades.
