Pollinate Energy (now merged with Empower Generation) brings life-improving products to people living in economic and energy poverty in India’s city slums and Nepal's remote villages. Our long-lasting solutions, including solar lights, clean cookstoves, reusable sanitary napkins and more – are all aimed at improving the health, safety, quality of life, and immediate environment of families in poverty. We distribute these products to the hardest-to-reach families through a diverse network of ‘Pollinators’ - women from disadvantaged backgrounds and remote communities who work as door-to-door sales agents, or who own their own retail shops and franchises. We empower our Pollinators with the skills, knowledge and confidence necessary to sell and service quality products, affordable to the poorest families with zero-collateral interest-free payment plans. Women in our network earn significant incomes and are promoted to positions of leadership within our network, while gaining power in their household and community.

Pollinate Energy currently operates in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Kanpur, India, and Chitwan and Kailali, Nepal.
