Driven by a renewed leadership in the international arena, new ideas may bring a peaceful and prosperous solution to the long lasting Israeli Palestinian conflict. By this initiative, the United Nations Association of the Dominican Republic (UNA-DR) and the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD), cordially invites you to participate in the conference “A Renewed Approach to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict”, to take place from April 1st- 4th, 2009. This conference will be hosted at the UN Millennium Plaza and the General Assembly Hall of the United Nations.
The purpose of this conference is to bring experts, the media, professors, researchers and students with the intention to analyze and discuss plausible solutions and proposals that deal with the social, educational and economic challenges in a post-conflict context between Israelis and Palestinians.
Please submit your resume, and in less than a page, explain why you will like to be part of the conference. The deadline is Friday March 13, 2009. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis. It covers conference materials, registration and the fees for the Black Tie Gala Dinner where are prominent member of congress would be recognized with the Middle East Peace Award. The $35 fee is due the first day of the conference. You should bring a money order, check or cash. You will receive a payment receipt in order to confirm your registration.
