The Massachusetts CASA Association (MA CASA) provides support to local CASA programs that utilize trained community volunteers (CASAs) to advocate on behalf of children in the court system. CASAs are court appointed special advocates, trained community volunteers who come from all walks of life to advocate for children involved in child abuse and neglect proceedings in the juvenile court. MA works to promote, assist, and support the development, growth, and continuation of CASA programs in the state that agree to follow the standards set by the National CASA Association. MA CASA’s primary goal is to ensure that each and every child in the state grows up in a safe and permanent home.
