Community Works of Connecticut
Community Works of Connecticut is a non-profit federation comprised of more than 30 non-profit organizations dedicated to achieving social and economic justice. Community Works of Connecticut raises funds on behalf of its member non-profits through workplace solicitation programs with government, corporate, and non-profit employers. Community Works aims to expand the base of philanthropy by providing non-profits with access to a diverse group of potential donors across the state.
Community Works’ members address the root causes of issues facing our communities, through education, advocacy and providing direct services. Members help individuals across Connecticut work to end discrimination, poverty, hunger, illiteracy, lack of affordable housing and access to healthcare.
