At Royal Roads University, we believe that learning occurs as we interact with others and the world around us. 

Our classes are composed of no more than 50 students, with a huge emphasis on teamwork, creating an intentional learning community that fosters collaboration, courage, passion, and commitment to lifelong learning and resolving complex, real-life problems. 

 The first element of our learning, teaching, and research model is to be Applied and Authentic. Students have opportunities to take what they learn and apply it to make real change through an internship, a case competition, or an applied project. We are committed to creating practical outcomes that make a positive difference.

The next element is Caring and Community-Based. We build and nurture relationships based on trust and mutual respect to support one another to change and grow. Through cohort-based learning, we create a learning community that is collaborative, supportive, future-oriented, and impactful with its contributions.

The final element is Transformational. In supporting people towards meeting their professional and personal goals, an RRU education fuses knowledge and new skills with knowing oneself, and stretching beyond what you believed yourself to be capable of achieving.
