Stepping Stones: Mentoring Homeless & At-Risk Youth
The Stepping Stones: Mentoring Homeless and At-Risk Youth is a one of a kind mentoring program that serves children living in Maricopa County homeless and transitional living shelters with a caring, community, volunteer mentor. The mentor provides stability and acts as a role model for a child living in poverty. The mission of this program is to improve the self esteem and resilience of the children that we serve.
The mentor commits to spending at least one hour per week for a period of a year with a child.
