Project A.C.E. (Accessing College and Education)

Project A.C.E. (Accessing College and Education) is a program that is a product of the AmeriCorps' Volunteer Infrastructure Program (VIP) Fellowship and the AmeriCorps CalPREP Liaison. This program is built and designed to partner with Fontana Unified School District and is placed in the Department of College and Career Readiness. Project A.C.E.'s mission is "to engage & integrate the Fontana community through volunteerism into the project of education facilitated by the Fontana Unified School District (FUSD) in efforts to support our budding leaders, innovators & scholars matriculate into college." Our goal is to fortify a "college going" culture and assist in securing a prosperous future for students of FUSD." As this is our inaugural year, Project A.C.E. will push for a college and career going culture by supporting AmeriCorps CalPREP Fellows and their volunteer infrastructures. Project A.C.E. will not only assist in the areas of mentor recruitment and fundraising but will also assist in creating uniformity among the school sites and ensure that the fellows' programs are in alignment with Fontana Unified School District policies and procedures.
