About Us

Loudon County Habitat for Humanity is a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry that works to eliminate poverty housing in our community by building and repairing houses in partnership with low-income families. Sources of funds include the mortgage payments from houses already built and sold; sales from our Home Store; donations from individuals, churches, businesses and civic clubs.

Volunteers are the life blood of Loudon County Habitat. They fill key roles in our day-to-day work, both on the construction site and at the Home Store. For more information about becoming involved with Loudon County Habitat for Humanity, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sammie Shanks (email sammie@loudoncountyhabitat.org or phone 865-640-5578).
