Louisiana Housing Alliance
The Louisiana Housing Alliance (LHA) was created to address the devastation of the state’s housing stock resulting from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The Louisiana Housing Alliance has been involved in bringing together advocacy leaders to review and advise policy at the state and federal level. The coalition works with the Louisiana Legislature, the Louisiana Recovery Authority Housing Task Force and other regulatory bodies to advocate for appropriate levels of affordable and supportive housing in the affected regions as well as receiver communities around the state.
The members of the Louisiana Housing Alliance work to ensure Louisiana based organizations are included in the state’s service delivery strategy.
