Present and create programming of the highest standards that reflect the diverse cultural life of the United States and that recognizes and nourishes our international heritage encourage, nurture and develop an audience for the performing arts from the widest possible population.     About Us

    A person who, beyond regular paid employment and normal day-to-day responsibilties, chooses to contribute time and service as a member of the Kennedy Center personnel team to assist the Center in the accomplishment of its mission.Friends volunteer services operates every day of the year unless otherwise indicated. Daily shifts are from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.; 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.; 6 p.m .- 9 p. m. Areas include gift shops, tour guides, information desk, administration and education.
