UPLIFT LAUNDRY TRUCK

Through our program, we have supported people in finding and maintaining employment by helping to maintain clean laundry. Additionally, we have connected families to other non-profit organizations for other critical needs. Recently, we prevented a person experiencing homelessness from having to throw away moldy clothes after a recent storm. We anticipate gathering more impact data once we begin working with the school sytem. We plan to work with schools by providing laundry services to students and their families, organizing educational programs on the importance of hygiene, and collaborating with school counselors and administrators to identify and support students who may be facing challenges related to laundry access. We also launched our work force program where people who are seeking jobs can get one garment dry cleaned at one of the local dry cleaners that we are partnering with.
