Brilla Public Charter Schools is a growing network of elementary and middle schools serving nearly 900 students from Mott Haven and surrounding neighborhoods in the South Bronx. Brilla has developed an innovative, hybrid educational approach incorporating a co-teaching model that combines instructional and online blended learning with core elements of classical education. Brilla schools focus on teaching the whole child, instilling a deep sense of character through four core virtues -- courage, justice, wisdom, and self-control -- while setting a high bar for academic performance and teaching content that has withstood the test of time. Brilla is committed to educating the whole child -- mind, body and soul -- and to creating a joyful community for families and staff.
