Side by Side Kids

Side by Side Kids is a faith-based afterschool program anchored in East Austin's St Johns community. We journey side-by-side with kids from kindergarten to fifth grade, encouraging and equipping them to reach their highest God-given potential as everyday leaders and heroes of tomorrow.

We are committed to tutoring and inspiring our kids to reach academic excellence, mentoring and encouraging them to make wise choices, and sharing the love and truth of the heart-changing Gospel with them.

The Side by Side Kids vision is to support holistically transformed families that have academically successful children, are spiritually renewed, and are socially responsible members of their community and society at large. Our mission is to equip and challenge students to strive for excellence as they live purposely and intelligently in the service of God and man while developing cross-cultural partnerships that focus on under-resourced communities.
