About Us

Jewish Teen Initiative of Greater Boston (JTI) is a nationally-recognized model for Jewish teen engagement, connecting the North Shore and Metrowest suburbs of Boston. The core of our work is focused on building relationships across agencies, synagogues, camps and day schools, as we meet teens where they are and help to both strengthen their connections to the Jewish community and broaden the menu of opportunities available to them.

Established nine years ago with the support of the Jim Joseph Foundation, JTI has become the "central address" for Jewish teen engagement in the communities we serve. Through collaboration, program development, and expanding access for local youth to participate in regional and national programming, JTI has been able to broaden the menu of opportunities for teens throughout the community.

Our work continues today, as the results of the last nine years have been dramatic with more than 1000 Jewish teens engaged, partnerships with 50+ organizations and a combined 220+ events planned. JTI is excited about the opportunity to add to our growing team.
