To unite communities and bridge the digital divide through service-learning and technology education.
Faith Tech is a faith-based technology initiative that will help bridge the Digital Divide in Southwestern Pennsylvania. By placing computer learning labs and educational programs in Episcopal churches, Faith Tech will bring technology education to those who need it most –those who are in the Digital Divide.
Faith Tech is a collaborative effort of the Pennsylvania Service-Learning Alliance at the University of Pittsburgh and the Episcopal Diocese of Pittsburgh. Computer labs are being provided by Computers for Education of Ohio. Funding for Faith Tech is provided by the Vira I. Heinz Endowment.
