Climate Action Pathways for Schools

Climate Action Pathways for Schools (CAPS) is an entrepreneurial 501(c)(3) nonprofit. We partner with schools to provide inspiring climate education programs and implement projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while saving money for the school district. CAPS is a start-up funded by government grants, school districts, and generous donations from corporations, foundations, and individuals.

CAPS provides a project-based learning program that employs and trains high school students via paid internships to develop energy and cost savings programs for their schools that help mitigate climate change. Our program helps to prepare them for great college and career opportunities and inspires them towards work in environmental protection. CAPS works predominantly with under-resourced schools.
