    Bereaved Youth Village was with a very specific mission--to create a village of support for children who have experienced the early loss of their mother and/or father.

    About Us

    Founder Victoria Evans was eighteen years old when she suddenly lost her mother to and recognized a need in the community to support this vulnerable population. Bereaved Youth Village brings children of all ages together in year-round EVENTS designed to build a supportive community, reduce isolation and to remind children they are not alone in their grief. Events take place in tandem with an intensive 1:1 MENTOR MATCH PROGRAM with caring community volunteers, many of whom have experienced this profound loss. Bereaved Youth Village is a true pioneer in children’s bereavement
