The Human Rights Studies Centre The establishment of Human Rights Studies Centre has came up as Pakistan's First ever and only Human Rights Educational institution at a University.It will function under an institutional contract between the Faculty of Law at the University of Peshawar and The Institute of Women's Law and the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo, Norway. This collaboration is facilitated under the education component of the Human Rights Mass Awareness and Education Project of the Government of Pakistan with the assistance of NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) and SDC(Swiss Development Cooperation). The primary purpose of the center is to develop curriculum for Human Rights as a subject at the Master's Degree Level and to co-ordinate the activities/ research regarding Human Rights at the national as well as at the provincial level. It also aims at to act as a base for institutional co-operation between Human Rights organizations at national and international level
