    The Virginia SMP Program educates Medicare beneficiaries, their families and caregivers to prevent, detect, and report Medicare fraud, waste, and abuse. We offer free training to be a part of a bigger picture to help seniors in your community. You will have a great time meeting like-minded volunteers as you work together to promote our mission.     About Us

    The Virginia Association of Area Agencies on Aging (V4A), a private, non-profit 501(c)(3)organization was established in 1976 to provide Advocacy, Communication, Training and Education to older Virginians. For the past 20 years, V4A had administered the Virginia SMP Program, a federal-funded program, that educates Medicare beneficiaries on how to prevent, detect, and report healthcare fraud.
