Give A Hand’s mission and vision is to ameliorate poverty by providing individuals with knowledge and access to financial services and literacy, and to overcome basic human needs that impede access to such knowledge (such as food insecurity, lack of access to water, and lack of access to education and health services). In short, we believe that individuals have the capacity to overcome poverty if given access to the right tools, knowledge and opportunity. We provide the opportunity; the individual creates the outcome.

Give A Hand achieves its goals by creating and delivering initiatives in different regions or countries in the world. These initiatives create access to microfinance services and financial literacy. We also address basic needs such as food, water, and education because they present a barrier to successfully implement our microfinance and financial literacy interventions.

Give A Hand works with local established partners who share in our commitment to combat poverty. Our team includes experienced researchers and local leaders who understand the need of engaging local stakeholders in the delivery of successful interventions.
