About Us

Our mission is to promote mental health recovery in Polk County, OR and surrounding areas by serving as a safe place for people with mental health challenges, past and present, to draw from their experiences, share, and connect with one another through activity. We also strive to eliminate the stigma and misunderstanding surrounding mental health, at both personal and societal levels. Finally, we strive to reach out to people in the community who are currently disconnected from social supports and help them in their recovery.

Our Philosophy

We are a peer-run recovery program for people with past or present mental health concerns.

We are a non-judgmental environment where your peers will not tell you what to do or look down on you.

We focus on what people can do instead of what they can't. We realize that no one can do everything, and everyone can do something. We see equal value in all human beings regardless of mental experience, gender, sexual orientation, age, race, color or creed.

We believe that mental health is a social justice issue, and we talk about what that means to each of us.
