Davis Campus Cooperatives (DCC) was founded to provide low cost cooperative housing for students at the University of California at Davis. Its mission also includes educating DCC members about cooperative ideas and promoting the resident members' social and economic welfare. In furtherance of DCC's purposes, the following cooperative principles are applied: 1. Open membership 2. Democratic Control 3. Member Economic Participation 4. A Focus on Education, Training 5. Cooperation Among Cooperatives; 6. Concern for Community; 7. Appropriate growth to meet future member need.
