Our work makes rebuilding faster, more affordable, and within reach for those who need it most.

Lotus Rising LA is a grassroots nonprofit dedicated to helping families rebuild after disaster.

In the wake of the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires, many families—especially those with generational homes—found themselves unable to rebuild due to underinsurance, rising construction costs, and financial barriers.

At Lotus Rising LA, we believe that home is more than just four walls. It’s stability, history, and community. We work to ensure that the families who built their lives in LA aren’t forced to leave simply because they can’t afford to rebuild.

Who We Serve

We focus on families who lost their homes in the 2025 wildfires and lack the financial resources to rebuild—particularly those with generational homes that were underinsured or uninsured. Our mission is to help them return home without being priced out of the city they helped build.

How We Operate

We work to lower rebuilding costs and increase access to home recovery solutions by:

• Partnering with prefabrication housing companies to offer cost-effective, high-quality home rebuilding solutions.
• Providing rebuilding guidance & furnishing assistance to families as they restore their homes.
• Funding rebuilding efforts through a combination of donor programs, corporate sponsorships, and creative fundraising initiatives (including artist-driven philanthropy through The LR Collective).
