About Us
The DC Prevention Center (DCPC) for Wards 1 and 2 is a collaborative venture between the Department of Health’s Addiction Prevention and Recovery Administration (APRA) and the Latin American Youth Center (LAYC) in Washington D.C.
DCPC aims to strengthen and mobilize communities to prevent substance abuse amongst youth by collaborating with community organizations and providing educational resources, as well as training, workshops, and technical assistance.
