Project HEAL: Help To Eat, Accept and Live

Douglaston, NY | http://www.theprojectheal.org

About Us

Project HEAL is America’s strongest voice that full recovery from an eating disorder is possible and should be affordable. At the age of 15 and themselves in recovery, Kristina Saffran and Liana Rosenman founded Project HEAL in 2008 to raise funds for others who could not otherwise afford treatment. We are now the largest nonprofit in the U.S. delivering access to HEALing for people suffering from eating disorders.

With over 100,000 people now connected through 40 chapters worldwide and online, our vision is that the dominant approach to eating disorder treatment and recovery becomes truly patient-centered, prioritizing and providing easy, equitable, and affordable access to long-term, sustained, treat-to-recovery care for all people with eating disorders.
