THE FRIENDS OF THE LA HABRA LIBRARY A CALIFORNIA NON-PROFIT PUBLIC

  • Mission

The organization acts as an advocate to the city and county to improve the library’s services and facilities. The Friends of the La Habra Library is a group of dedicated citizens who want to help the library provide the best possible service to the La Habra community. The Friends support all of the programs offered to children, teens and adults such as the summer reading program, after school tutoring program and the Teen Advisory Board. Although the Library is supported by county property taxes and city funds, an excellent library needs more than taxpayer support. Please join the Friends of the Library and show your support.

    About Us

We are a 501C3 all volunteer non-profit organization. We operate a used bookstore within the library. Funds raised from our bookstore sales go to support additional children, teen and adult programs not covered by the Orange County Public Library System. All funds raised go to support our goals of promoting literacy within the community.
