Community Learning for Life Program

Community Learning for Life Program (CLLP) was created to give students, parents, and committed adults a voice in education. Our mission is to empower youth of Baltimore to become life long learners who contribute positively to society. CLLP is based on a model created in Providence, Rhode Island, the MET school. Each student meets with their parents and teachers often to create an individualized learning plan, which balances their needs and interests. Students learn at their own pace through internships, outings, self-exploration, and advisor assistance. Students demonstrate mastery of a subject area through a presentation of their own design to peers, parents, advisors, and the community.
