The Neighbor Network

The Neighbor Network is a remote volunteer-based non-profit program aimed at diminishing isolation among NYC seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Our program offers a weekly call from a volunteer to a senior as a friendly check in and to connect NYC older adults seniors with resources to urgent and non-urgent needs at our local partnerships. These regular calls help to fight social isolation, connect older New Yorkers with the resources they need, and build relationships that will bring joy and comfort to seniors and volunteers alike.
