About Us

Catholic Charities of Solano (CCS) strengthens individual lives and families in need.  The agency is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization serving Solano County, California and regional residents since 1942.   Located in Vallejo, the agency supports individuals and families in the community who are unable to meet their basic needs due to financial hardship, cultural barriers, disability, frailty, or inability to access adequate social support. Health and social service programs are provided that contribute to the individual's freedom and independence, while always valuing the dignity of human life and the importance of family. CCS offers programs and services under four divisions: Family Assistance; New Pathways Counseling; Immigration Services; Friendship Services. Formerly named Catholic Social Services of Solano County, services are provided from the home office in Vallejo and in the cities of Fairfield, Vacaville, and Benicia. Catholic Charities of Solano provides services without regard to race, religion, color, gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical disability, marital status, national origin, or age. The agency serves within the Diocese of Sacramento and is a member of Catholic Charities of California and Catholic Charities of America. (Our current website is under construction.)
