Shared Wealth Initiative formed in June, 2024 because the founder was enraged at the lack of accountability of corporations that allow for compensation ratios to be out of control. The current ratio of median CEO compensation to median employee pay is 399:1, up from 21:1 in 1965.
We are putting together an organization that will create boycotts around the world, bringing to the attention of the corporate leaders the inequality. We will also collaborate with other organizations addressing this issue from other perspectives.
We are building a team of committed, skilled, thoughtful volunteers to help us design this project, implement it, and follow through on the impact for which we are aiming.
