The Healing House, Inc

 The Healing House, Inc. is a newly incorporated, nationally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit human service agency. Since our inception, we have maintained our focus in providing services for women that have been impacted by trauma residing in Kanawha County, West Virginia.    

Mission - Create a safe environment for women that promotes healing, development, transformation, and growth in all areas.  

 Core values - Faith, Integrity, Renewal, Accountability, and Respect 

Population served - Women 18-40 adversely impacted by trauma. The Healing House, Inc. provides services to all women, however low-income and at-risk women receive priority services. 

Genesis - A transitional living program for at-risk young women ages 18-22. This may include but is not limited to: young women that have exited the foster care program, but remain in state's custody, young women transitioning from a youth or homeless shelter, and young women exiting a juvenile correctional facility.  

 Elevate - A community initiative that provides a wide variety of behavioral health and supportive services to women in our community that have been negatively impacted or affected by trauma. Elevate seeks to address and reduce the effects of social and behavioral health issues, in order to improve participants quality of life.
