About Us

Since 1992, Health for Humanity has focused its work on meeting this unmet, urgent need of providing technical medical training through partnerships with existing healthcare institutions around the world. Health for Humanity’s work is unique because it prioritizes long-term capacity building of healthcare professionals in developing countries, recognizing the growing need for advanced medical education to sustainably improve health care worldwide.

To produce successful outcomes, Health for Humanity collaborates with local governmental and non-governmental organizations around the world to identify training needs and to implement appropriate programs to meet those needs. Currently Health for Humanity is focused on improving capacity for Blindness Prevention in the following communities:
