We provide a strength-based program in a safe space that focuses on physical fitness through "mitt training," an alternative to boxing. The skills that the youth will obtain will help them in re-directing their anger. It also teaches discipline, conflict resolution, and dealing with peer pressure. We implemented a small workforce development program that includes a life skills component. The workforce development program revolves around our furniture donation center. We receive gently used furniture and provide it to nonprofit and community organizations that directly need to furnish their client's residences. The new cohort that we are implementing introduces gaming and coding to the youth. With the state and condition of our youth, we are partnering with Empas to provide a mental health cohort.
