    About Us

    WHO WE ARE

NAMI South King County is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. We provide support, education, and advocacy for individuals and families who are living with mental illness and speak for those who are unable to do so themselves. We offer support...we offer hope.

NAMI South King County is here to help! We offer understanding to anyone concerned about mental illnesses and the treatment of mental illness.

We've been in existence since 1985. We offer a variety of programs and services to people with mental illness and their families.

    OUR GOALS

We advocate at the county, state, and national levels for non-discriminatory access to quality healthcare, housing, education, and employment for people with mental illness. We aspire to support, educate, and advocate for individuals and families experiencing mental health challenges. We work to end stigma, and advocate for increased funding for research into the causes, and treatment of mental illness.

    OUR VISION

No one knows the stigma of mental illness.
