Mental Health Services Program for Youth in the Greater Boston Area
The Mental Health Services Program (MHSPY) for Youth is a community-based non-profit program serving individuals ages 3 through 19 who have persistent symptoms of serious emotional disturbance and area at risk of being placed out of home. MHSPY is an integrative program providing physical health, mental health, and substance abuse services. MHSPY staff work intensively with families of enrolled youth to meet the youth's needs with the goals of maintaining the child at home, increasing access to community resources, and preventing unnecessary hospitalizations or residential placements. MHSPY serves individuals in Massachusetts who reside in one of the following five towns: Cambridge, Everett, Malden, Medford, and Somerville.
