About Us

Madison Cat Project's mission is Saving Cats' Lives Through Community Solutions.

Madison Cat Project has worked with area humane societies and other rescues to offer adoption outcomes for feral and undersocialized cats, as well as cats who may not thrive in a typical shelter environment since 2001.

Between both adoption programs we offer (indoor and barn cat), our extensive foster network and excellent volunteer support, we are able to offer cats who need extra time for socialization or medical recovery an opportunity to find appropriate homes.

Since 2007, our annual adoption numbers have increased by 250%. In 2017 we sent home 672 cats to wonderful homes. Each year, we spay and neuter hundreds more.

We continue to implement programs and seek out efficiencies to strengthen our impact on the community..
