Resources for Educational and Employment Opportunities (“REEO”) was founded in 2002 by three students who, without the academic preparation by Southern California Community Colleges and generous financial assistance, would not have been able to successfully transfer to a Four-Year University and complete their undergraduate education. Based on their experiences, the founders identified a significant need: Community College students were at a tremendous disadvantage when attempting to finance their education, transfer to Four-Year Universities and enter the professional workplace. REEO was created to assist promising Community College students as they work towards achieving their goal of becoming college graduates and contributing professionals.
