  • Mission

The mission of BOFA, Inc. is to establish long lasting solutions for an inclusive, community driven, and intersectional approach to historic preservation in education, arts, and culture.

    About Us

The Black O'Kelleys Family Association, Inc., was incorporated in 2020 to accumulate and preserve the genealogical records of the family, to inspire, inform, and connect interested O'Kelley Cousins around the world and to celebrate the achievements of the Black O'Kelleys community. We have been hosting reunions since 1938 and have connected with the descendants of the white slave owner we both descend from. Our story has been shared on TV, podcasts, newspapers, etc. Our original website is http://blackokelleys.org. Upon forming the NPO, our goal is to help others in the community establish family reunions, conduct genealogical research, and more. We are kickstarting our first scholarship program with our newly elected board of directors.
