Youth Adelante

The Youth Adelante (YA) after school program focuses on 7th & 8th graders who need additional math enrichment to be tracked for college. This is made possible by a with El Concilio of San Mateo County (ECSMC) and the Chicana Latina Foundation (CLF). The focus is math enrichment, study skills, critical thinking and social skill building, leadership development and cultural pride. We also offer family meetings to introduce parents of our program to resources in their community and cultivate self-reliance in their ability to find resources for any issues they face. This program is offered at two schools the San Francisco Peninsula.
