Near Eastside IDA Program
26 N. Arsenal Ave.
The Near Eastside Individual Development (IDA) Program is dedicated to helping residents of the Near Eastside of Indianapolis achieve their dreams of homeownership, higher education, or small business ownership, while developing good savings and money management habits.
The IDA Program helps people of low income move up the economic ladder with a two-pronged approach: building assets and teaching financial management skills. Every dollar deposited in an individual development account (IDA) is matched with $3 by the IDA Program. Money in an IDA may be used only to purchase a home, pay for higher education, or start a small business. Participants in the program complete a financial literacy course designed to teach basic budgeting and spending skills.
