About Us

JAFAH is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit California corporation that focuses primarily on three areas. 1) Shoah Remembrance Project: Focuses on producing documentaries, educational guides and other materials to properly memorialize the events of the Holocaust so that peoples of all faiths and from all communities can learn the insidious impacts of hate. 2) Building Bridges Project: Advances inter-community relations and understanding between Jews and others, especially African-Americans, through sponsoring projects such as the JAFAH National Building Bridges High School Essay Contest, which focuses on topics intended to increase inter-community sensitivity. 3) Jewish Studies Scholarship Fund: Provides scholarships for those interested in pursuing degrees in Jewish studies and related subject areas.
