Drama Interaction is a creative and performing arts program dedicated to fostering expression and empowerment of children and adults with special needs. The nonprofit organization combines the unique talents and passions of performing artists and special education professionals. We are committed to finding the talents and strengths of each individual through performing arts experience in theater, music, dance and puppetry. Our special artists gain confidence through the arts to express their emotions, thoughts and ideas in new ways. Participants can improve interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem solving skills and they will enjoy shared social experiences. Drama Interaction offers our artists the opportunity to nurture critical social and academic skills that bridge the gap between individuals with special needs and their typically performing peers. Programs also for seniors with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.
