About Us
The Africana Community Rehabilitation Organization (ACRO) is a local non-political and non-profit making Organization.It has been established on 25th October, 2007 by local people from different social status and professionals with interest in safe guarding our environment and social-economic development. This Local NGO was formed according to the willingness of the community in a view to deal with the present Climate Change challenges and socio- economic problems in different villages.
VISION: We envision a sustainable ecosystem conservation and renewable energy and a healthy environment in which to grow and thrive.
MISSION: Our mission at ACRO is to support marginalized community groups through promoting environmental conservation and improved livelihood systems.
ACRO receives volunteers from all around the world who come to share, teach and learn as they participate to the NGO’s activities.
