The mission of the IUPUI Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES) is to provide applied interdisciplinary environmental solutions to translate research into action while promoting environmental stewardship through education and public service programs. Created in 1997 with a seed grant from Indiana University, CEES has grown through excellence in applied research and outreach programs and was given the distinction as a university Signature Center of Excellence in 2007.
