    Our mission at the Human and Pet Initiative, HAPI is to keep pets with their families and out of shelters by providing necessary support to their humans.

    About Us

    We are an Oakland based organization that merges animal and human services to support families with pets. In an effort to keep pets with their families, HAPI offers a range of free services which include FREE ID tags, collars and leashes, harnesses, toys, microchipping, vaccinations, flea treatment, dewormer, food, beds and crates, and information on affordable local veterinary and food pantry resources.

    HAPI also offers return to home resources to get lost or found pets back home.
