LINK, Linking Communities for Educational Success, Inc.
In 1999, LINK, Linking Communities for Educational Success, was founded by Washington College of Law students focused on helping young people in Southeast reach their full potential. LINK’s mission is to empower at-risk teens in Southeast Washington, DC by providing them with academic support and leadership training. Headquartered in John Philip Sousa Middle School, LINK offers adolescents after school academic enrichment programs, mentoring, college preparation workshops and Saturday and Summer Academies. Collectively, our programs address student academic needs, build on their strengths, provide students with access to caring and supportive adults, and introduce students to diverse career and cultural experiences.
