About Us

SAY has provided services to youth and families in Sonoma County for over 40 years

Our mission is to provide support, hope and opportunity to youth and families in Sonoma County. We help strengthen families and give them the tools they need to be healthy, self-sufficient, and successful. SAY was founded in 1971 as a mental health counseling agency in response to community concerns about the lack of available child abuse prevention and intervention services. SAY’s purpose is to help children, youth, and young adults resolve the psychological, social, cultural, and environmental barriers that can negatively impact their well-being. Last year, we served over 6,000 children and their families.
