About Us
On Sunday, April 29th thousands of concerned Broward County residents will join together in downtown Ft. Lauderdale at Huizenga Plaza to raise awareness of the AIDS epidemic in Fort Lauderdale. AIDS Walk benefits AIDS Healthcare Foundation along with several other outstanding HIV/AIDS service organizations in Broward County, such as Mount Bethel, Broward House, Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc., and Mount Olive Development Corporation. Proceeds from the AIDS Walk help fund the production of innovative medicine, prevention and education initiatives, and provides essential life-sustaining services for people living with HIV/AIDS regardless of their ability to pay .
